The East Side & West Side Soil & Water Conservation Districts is hosting a soil conservation conference in Idaho Falls on February 4, 2020. Dr. Christine Jones is the keynote speaker and they are also featuring regional soil conservationist Marlon Winger as well as some local producers. It would be worth the journey just to see Dr. Jones but don't despair if this is too far to travel, I hear rumors she will be in southern and possibly southwest Idaho at other events this spring - stay tuned for details.
