Soil Keepers Meeting 7-20-18

Greetings, Soil Keepers.

I am pleased to announce our next meeting is being organized for July 20. With the help of NRCS we are planning to run some soil health tests on local soils in hopes of seeing some major improvements in infiltration, stability and other qualities. A group member has also volunteered to discuss his soil health efforts in crop and grazing situations.

After the meeting we have been invited to the nearby Landry ranch to walk through their fields to have a look at various pasture and cover crop species to see how they are performing.
